Diagnosing an electric scooter battery

This service ensures an accurate assessment of the condition of your electric scooter's battery and determines the best actions to restore it and thus maintain your vehicle's performance.

Here are the different steps in the process:

1. Battery collection and preparation

We collect the battery from your scooter so that we can study it.

2. Performance and health status tests

• Voltage and capacity measurement : using a multimeter, the battery voltage is measured to assess its charge level and remaining capacity.

• Analysis of the BMS (Battery Management System) : the operation of the BMS is checked to ensure that it correctly manages the charging and discharging of the battery.

• Health assessment : Tests are performed to determine the overall health of the battery, identifying any defective or unbalanced cells.

3. Preparation of a detailed report

• Technical report : A document is generated, grouping approximately 25 checkpoints, providing a complete assessment of the battery's condition at time T.

• Repairability Index : This report includes a repairability index, indicating whether the battery can be repaired or if a replacement is necessary.

4. Recommendations and corrective actions

• Repair proposals : Depending on the results, actions such as replacing defective cells, rebalancing cells or complete battery reconditioning may be suggested.

• Battery replacement : If repair is not viable, replacing the battery with a new one is recommended.

In both cases, a quote will be provided to you.

5. Battery return

Depending on the actions taken, the repaired or replaced battery will be returned to you in store.
